Guidelines:
Because of differing levels of healing in this group, we feel it is necessary to occasionally remind you of the guidelines we want to follow in this group. Ultimately, you are all adults and will do whatever you want, however, if we feel you are abusing the purpose of this ministry we may ask you to move on.
- People come to this group hurt, rejected and vulnerable. Do not take advantage of that.
- People often bear their souls here. Respect that with confidentiality.
- Give everyone a chance to express their feelings. Don’t hog the conversations. Remember that even if you don’t agree with what someone is saying, their feelings are still valid and real to them. Be sensitive.
- This is not a singles group or a place to find a date. Most of you are not ready for that. If you want to do social things together, stick to group outings instead of one on one.
- When on outings under the D.A.S.H. name, please represent us by respecting and honoring our beliefs.
